Manufacturing Credit

Presently TVA offers a 5% credit to certain qualified manufacturers. This credit is renewed on an annual basis and may not be available more than the current year and is limited to those customers who contract for at least 5,001 kW.

Growth Credit

TVA offers a program to encourage economic development by offering a credit based on demand used for new or expanded growth in kW contracted for. This credit is for a three (3) Year period and would be based on $6.00 per kW. At the end of the three year period the credit would end. Certain manufacturing customers may qualify by reaching a demand exceeding 100 kW (new customer) or existing customers may qualify by increasing demand by 100kW (expanding customer). Other non-manufacturing customers with demands of 250 kW may qualify by adding a new load or expanding the existing demand when they are "all electric" customers.
