Scholarships

At Joe Wheeler EMC, we fully support education in every way. That’s why we offer several opportunities for students to get the best education possible through scholarships.

• Youth Tour – This is an all expenses paid, 3 day trip to Montgomery for high school juniors. Following an application process, if you are chosen you also receive a $500 scholarship. For more information and an application to the Youth Tour, click here.
• J.R. Knouff Scholarship – Ten lucky students will receive a $2,000 scholarship to be used at the school of their choice. This scholarship is for high school seniors or first-year college students. For more information and an application to this scholarship, click here.
• Electric Cooperative Foundation Scholarship – Two high school seniors will receive this $500 scholarship from the Alabama Rural Electric Association. Come by any Joe Wheeler EMC office location or your school guidance counselor's office to get an application for this scholarship.

If you have recently been awarded a scholarship, please print and fill out the Cash Scholarship Request Form by clicking here so the money can be sent to the school of your choice. You may return it to Benita Owens, P.O. Box 460, Trinity, AL 35673.
